SSO Antarctic Symphony 2007
Sydney Symphony Orchestra took an expedition to Antarctica; a journey in words, images and music inspired by Captain Robert Falcon Scott's ill-fated expedition.
Interactive Originals worked closely with Raff Wilson of Sydney Symphony to optimise the use of the images from the actual expedition with the Orchestra's performance of Vaughan Williams' Symphony No.7, Sinfonia Antarctica. The performance was interspersed with readings of Captain Scott's journal by John Bell, of the Bell Shakespeare company.
